Our Mission

The Savjani Lab at UCLA develops computational, imaging, and informatics approaches to improve radiation oncology research and clinical workflows. Our work focuses on translating advances in medical imaging, data science, and artificial intelligence into practical tools for understanding cancer, supporting radiotherapy, and enabling scalable clinical research.

Featured Projects

RAD-DROP

An automated framework that integrates radiation therapy dose maps into PACS, making each patient’s 3D radiation treatment history accessible within routine imaging workflows.

Treatment Tracker

Treatment Tracker is a patient-facing guidance platform that helps individuals understand what to do when specific symptoms, side effects, or treatment-related situations arise. The tool combines short educational videos with structured online workflows.

VisionOnc

A dynamic oncology data visualization platform that helps researchers and clinicians explore patient-level clinical trial data through interactive, browser-based tools.
